Our new Essilor Prescription Catalogue that will be effective
from Monday January 18th.
2010 brings significant changes and introductions to the lens catalogue and introduces EYECODE personalised lens dispensing from Essilor.
The personalised lens market is a fast growth area and as a result is demanding even more sophisticated dispensing tools. Essilor’s VISIOFFICE system measures every possible
parameter required for the new generation of personalised lenses. It also has full face imaging and powerful sales tools
that allow you to compare lenses and demonstrate added
value lens options.
EYECODE is a stunning breakthrough in lens personalisation
and is a unique patented feature of VISIOFFICE. The system
is easy to use via a
12” touch-screen with all measurements taken using full face images. By analysing angles and distances in real time VISIOFFICE can identify natural head posture and select the most relevant images for each individual patient.

January 2010 also brings a change to the Varilux Guarantee system from Essilor.
To streamline this process Essilor will now issue a credit for any Varilux non-tolerance claim. This will replace the existing issue of a voucher.
Please complete the non-tolerance booklet as normal and submit your request. Please add a reference clearly to this claim which we will use for traceability and matching purposes.
Once a credit has been issued from Essilor to Lenstec we will then ourselves issue a credit note to your account for the value of the lenses.
